John Francois, who has achieved success in both business and accountancy for more than 25 years, founded his accountancy practice in 2010 from just a few clients to a thriving practice in a recessionary climate.
John has trained and worked for some of the largest accounting practices in New Zealand. He trained at Price WaterhouseCoopers and after a 4 year stint there he transferred to WHK Coffey Davidson in Hastings (now called Crowe Horwath) where he worked for over 10 years.
John has a wide range of business and accounting experience. As well as his tax expertise he has experience with audit, liquidations and business mentoring. John is passionate about business success and has run business courses teaching keen business owners how to increase their business profits by using simple proven business building tricks learned from his years of business experience. In 2014 John along with his friend Nick Roberts ran a series of comprehensive business building seminars for business owners in Hawkes Bay which attracted attendances of up to 50 people.
John believes that, as in life in general, to get you have to give, so he always provides a little extra advice and assistance to business owners he comes in contact with. He always tries to get the best possible result for his clients whether it is reducing their tax payable or helping them make more money in their business.
John now works from his home in Havelock North. This means John can offer more competitive accounting fees as he does not have the big overhead costs larger accounting firms have. Another big advantage is that John does all the work himself so he can be confident his clients are getting the best possible result.
